Ali Michael Gains Five Pounds, Lands Lucrative Jobs

Ali Michael was both criticized and praised for going on The Today Show a few months ago to publicly deplore weight issues in the fashion industry.
The young model revealed that after gaining five pounds, she couldn’t book any show in Paris, despite the fact that gaining five measly pounds is normal for a girl still growing. Plus she hadn’t had her regular cycle in over a year, a sign of undernourishment.
So, what has Ali been up to then?
Oh, nabbing a contract with Lanvin’s Jeanne Lanvin fragrance, re-signing her Sportmax deal and inking a new one with Anna Sui to be the label’s fall campaign face along with model Agnete Hegelund, who were both shot by Tom Munro.
We’re going to eat that second cupcake now.
