The Whitney Contemporaries’ Art Party and Auction went down at Skylight on Hudson Street in New York last night, drawing a good number of beautiful girls dresses in form-hugging Herve Leger bandage dresses.

Rachel Bilson, Tinsley Mortimer, Eva Amurri, Fabiola Bercasa, Michelle Trachtenberg and a score of it-models (Coco, Behati, Doutzen, Hana) attended the Max Azria Group-sponsored event, braving Leger’s skin-tight dresses, while Ivanka Trump, Joy Bryant, Lubov Azria and Abby McGrew (wife of Eli Manning) decidedly went with more forgiving silhouettes.

In between sneaking peeks at the art and dancing to DJ Stretch Armstrong, regulars on the social circuit and members of the host committee — like the Gossip Girl cast, Sean Avery, Diane Kruger, Claire Danes, Tina Chai, Natalie Portman, Lou Doillon, Ed and Christy Burns, Genevieve Jones, Bonnie Morrison, Margherita Missoni, Zani Gugelmann, James Franco, Amanda Peet, Moby and Leigh Lezark — caught up with each other.

We don’t know how those girls poured themselves into those Herve Leger dresses, but it probably has something to do with personal trainers and swigging champagne instead of eating dinner.
