Nick Hogan Sentenced to 8 Months in Jail
May 9, 2008 @ 2:20 pm
Hulk Hogan’s son Nick was sentenced to eight months in county jail in Florida today.
Nick pled no contest to felony reckless driving charges stemming from an August car crash that left his friend seriously injured.
The judge also handed down five years probation, 500 hours of community service and suspended his driver’s license for three years.
He won’t be allowed to drink during his probation and will attend DUI education classes.
The 17-year-old stared straight ahead as the sentence was read.
Nick and friend John Graziano were drag racing when he lost control and slammed into a palm tree. He later tested positive for alcohol.
John is expected to spend the rest of his life in a nursing home.
His father said in a statement during the hearing, “My life now consists of 10 hours each day at a hospital watching my son suffer.”
“Nick has shown no remorse for what he’s done for my son.”
John’s sister also spoke adding, “We have never once heard him apologize for what he’s done or take any responsibility for any of his actions.”
Nick will next appear in court November 11 to address restitution to the family.
He was taken into custody and will begin serving his sentence immediately.

I am shocked!!!!!!!!! BUT what do you expect for celebrity justice????????? Never saying he was sorry; he should have gotten life as that is what he gave to John Graziano. What is the episode of the Hogans going to look like now???????

Shocked?!!!! The boy was old enough to make a choice to get in Nick’s car that night. Nobody forced him. As far a Nick’s silence it’s the only thing he can do at this point it’s the only way….John knows in his buddy Nick would switch with him if he could….

Well lets consider thats more than what most child molesters get. And if your a female you get nothing but counseling. As a matter of fact I know of some people who got less than that for beating up their spouse. Not that what he did is to be taken lightly but if you look at some other lame judges out there this is just another case of poor judgment on the judge. Make this kid viset every hospital in FLorida and talk to the familys of accident victims. Make you do community service at a wreck yard and cemetary. There is a whole list of CORRECTIVE punishment that can be applied but I guess the pea brain judge didnt put much thought into it anyway.

Justice in America is not fair but this is another Cake cutter. He not only should show some level of remorse he should realize his level of responsibility for this tragedy to his friends life. The sad part of this story is the waste of a full life for his friend and the second is that justice will not be served. Next time you see a case like this from a no name person read the level of punishment. You will be shocked.

I, in no way condone what Nick did. He is stupid, immature and now a criminal. But due to his age, I am sure there were limitations with what the judge could sentence due to liberal sentencing laws throughout the nation. Was he tried as an adult?
Getting 8 months in county jail is a lot better than him being put in a juvie hall somewhere. So hopefully the arrogant, non-remorseful little bastard will get culture shock when he’s not in his protected world of prestige and mansions. He might even get himself a boyfriend out of it.

It was once said,
” Let him who is without SIN cast the first stone”.
What I sense here is alot of individuals that are jealous of who he is as Hogans son.
Let all remeber what we did when we were 17 and be thankful we were not caught. We have all broken the law and will break the law. Maybe you all should just turn yourslves in. Since your so perfect and all.

what makes you all think that hogan son is at fault at all????? where yall there and did yall or just “happen” to hear on the news. it was just as much as nick’s fault as well as john’s fault, he could have been there cheering nick on or maybe coursed him into it, you don’t know. so before yall pass judgement on someone you don’t even freaking know, why don’t yall dwell on what you have done in the past and got away with. LATERZ YA FREAKING HYPOCRITES.

I think both Nick and John are responsible to a degree. I also believe Nick might have been advised not to say as much as he may feel the need to, as the family braces for a civil law suit, if so, the subject of comparative negligence may arise, such as who bought the liquor, who instigated the race, and who did not wear their seat belt. As far as Terry, wasn’t he named father of the year. You can teach a young man everything but just like a fine tuned engine, sometimes it malfunctions.
