1. To Enter:
Beginning December 20th, 2007 at 12:00:00 AM (PST) through January 15th, 2008 at 11:59:59 AM (PST) click the submit button as instructed on the contest web page. Limit one entry per person and per email address per day. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.
“Authorized Account Holder” means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
2. Random Drawing:
A random drawing from entries will be held by Hollywood Life on or about January 20th, 2008, from among all eligible entries received. Multiple entries by the same person will result in the disqualification of all entries by that name, and may result in the disqualification of any entries received from that IP address. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All decisions by Hollywood Life regarding this contest shall be final. All prizes will be awarded. Winners will be notified by email.
3. Prize(s):
DVDs to be determined at the absolute sole discretion of Hollywood Life. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.
4. General Rules:
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States (excluding residents of Florida and all U.S. territories and possessions) who are at least 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher than 18). Employees of Hollywood Life, it’s affiliates or subsidiaries, agencies and their immediate family members and / or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted.
All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All materials submitted become the sole property of Hollywood Life and will not be returned. Return of any prize / prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate will be selected. Potential winners may have to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility / Release of Liability within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification and an alternate will be selected. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except that Hollywood Life reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is unavailable as described in paragraph 3 above. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Hollywood Life, their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges.
Hollywood Life is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize. Hollywood Life is not responsible for lost, late or illegible entries or for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Hollywood Life on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or in the email system or any combination thereof. If for any reason the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, Hollywood Life reserves the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.
Unless otherwise prohibited by law, acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, likeness and address (city and state) for advertising and publicity purposes for this or similar promotions, without further compensation. Acceptance of any prize constitutes a waiver of any claim to royalties, rights or compensation for said use.
